For any full load system under 1,000 W, a 12V inverter handles the job well, and inverter efficiency always matters since no inverter reaches 100% output   most run near 80% or 0.8, so you calculate the real power requirement the battery delivers instead of trusting the sticker number.

Lead acid batteries should never fall below 50% charge, and this depth of discharge rule means you divide 220 Ah by 50% to land near 440 Ah of usable capacity   that typically means two 12V 220Ah batteries wired in parallel, or roughly five 500 watt solar panel  batteries if you’re stuck with 12V 100Ah batteries.

Lithium batteries treat you better since they tolerate 90% discharged capacity, so you divide 220 Ah by 90% for about 250 Ah usable, which one 12V 250Ah lithium battery covers on its own, or you can swap in 12V 125Ah lithium batteries, 500 watt solar panel needing only two batteries, or fall back on 12V 100Ah lithium batteries, needing three batteries to hit the same usable figure.

Pick a quality inverter with high efficiency and stable performance for the best results, and avoid draining batteries past their safe limit no matter which chemistry you pick.
